A battery subjected to the extremely low air pressure
that may result in an explosion or the leakage of
flammable liquid or gas.
56. Should battery fluid leak and contact your eyes, skin
or clothing immediately rinse with plenty of clean
water. Immediately contact your physician in case of
eye or skin contact.

The batteries are a sealed unit and under normal
circumstances poses no safety concerns. In the
unlikely event that liquid leaks from the battery
do not touch the liquid and observe the following
precautions:
• Skin contact: can cause irritation. Wash with soap
and water.
• Inhalation: can cause respiratory irritation. Expose
to fresh air and seek medical advice.
• Eye contact: can cause irritation. Immediately flush
eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes.
Seek medical attention.
• Disposal: wear gloves to handle the battery and
dispose of it immediately, following local ordinances
or regulations.

Batteries must not be disposed of with normal
household waste. Recycle them at the
collection points provided for this purpose.
Contact the local authorities or your dealer for
recycling advice. Correct disposal of old batteries
helps protect the environment and human health.
