3. Insert the two supplied AAA
batteries into the battery compart-
ment according to their polarity.
4. Close the battery compartment.

Hand pulse sensors

PULSE MEASUREMENT: You can measure
your pulse using the two hand
- During the workout, place both hands on the hand sensors
and wait briefly until the heart rate is displayed on the LCD monitor (see Fig. I).

Heart rate monitoring systems may be inaccurate. Over exercising may result in

serious injury or death. If you feel faint stop exercising immediately.

STOP MODE
- The display on the center console will enter SLEEP mode (LCD off) when there is no
signal input or after 4 minutes without pedaling.

Functions and Features

1. SCAN: Press the MODE button until SCAN appears on the screen.
The following functions will be displayed for 6 seconds each on the main screen:
TIME---SPEED---DISTANCE---CALORIE---ODO---PULSE. If the display is faint or shows
no figures, please replace the batteries.
2. TIME: Shows your elapsed workout time in minutes and seconds. Your computer
will automatically count up from 0:00 to 99:59 in one second intervals. If you
continue exercising once the time has reached 0:00, the computer will begin
beeping, and count up from 0:00.
3. SPEED: Displays your workout speed value in KM/MILE per hour from 0.0 to 999.9.
4. DISTANCE: Displays the accumulative distance traveled during each workout up to
a maximum of 999.9 miles.

5. CALORIES: Your computer will estimate the cumulative calories burned at any
given time during your workout.

6. ODOMETER: Will display the total accumulated distance of the Foldable Exercise Bike.
