NOTICES FOR SAFE OPERATION
Setting Up
PLEASE NOTE!
■ Only use the fire pit if it has been assembled properly in ac-
cordance with these assembly and operating instructions and is
undamaged. Do not use it if it shows any deformations. Check
before every use. The fire pan must be inserted correctly.
■ Make sure that the fire pit is placed on a stable, horizontal, flat
and fire-resistant surface which is not made of glass or plastic.
■ Only use the fire pit for burning ready-for-use soft or hard wood
(no pellets made of this wood).
Igniting the Fuel
Using petrol or spirit to ignite the fuel may result in uncontrollable
heat caused by deflagrations. You should only use safe materials for
burning, such as solid firelighters.
1. Stack some of the wood in the fire pan.
2. Ignite one or two solid firelighters with a match. Place them on
top of the layer of wood.
3. Allow the solid firelighters to burn for two to four minutes.
Then add more wood.
