OPERATION

SUCTION CONTROL BUTTONS
See Figure 3, page 9.
The vacuum's suction power can be adjusted for different
applications. Increase the suction power when vacuuming
thick piles of rugs and carpets. Decrease the suction power
when vacuuming delicate items, such as lampshades.
NOTE: If the vacuum is turned off and restarted within three
minutes, the unit will return to the last used suction setting.
If the vacuum is turned off for more than three minutes or if
the battery pack is removed, the unit will start with medium
suction.
 Press the " - " button to decrease suction and the " + "
button to increase suction.
USING THE BEATER BAR
See Figure 4, page 10.
CAUTION:
Not to be used for grooming a pet
The beater bar can connect directly to the vacuum for
cleaning upholstery and stairs or attach with the extension
wand for normal floor vacuuming.
NOTE: Vacuum can be locked into the upright position, but
is not meant to be left standing unattended.
To connect:
 Switch off unit and remove the battery pack.
 Align the pins on the beater bar with the receptacle in the
stick vacuum or extension wand.
 Press together until it clicks into place.
 Replace battery pack.
To remove:
 Switch off unit and remove the battery pack.
 Depress locking tab and pull to remove.

ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE EXTENSION
WAND AND ACCESSORY TOOLS
See Figure 5, page 10.
CAUTION:
Not to be used for grooming a pet
The extension wand and accessory tools can be used
together or separately for a variety of cleaning tasks.
To connect:
 Switch off unit and remove the battery pack.
 For the extension wand, align the receptacle on the
extension wand with the pins in the stick vacuum.
 Press together until it clicks into place.
 For accessory tools, insert the tool into the outlet of the
stick vacuum or the extension wand.
 Press together until it fits securely.
 Replace battery pack.
To remove:
 Switch off unit and remove the battery pack.
 Depress locking tab and pull to remove.
EMPTYING/REATTACHING THE DUST BOWL
See Figures 6 - 8, page 10.
The dust bowl should be checked, emptied, and cleaned
periodically for maximum dust collection.
To empty:
 Remove the battery pack.
 Squeeze the release button located on the front of the
dust bowl. Pull the dust bowl down and out.
 Hold unit over waste receptacle.
 Press the locking tab on bottom of bowl to release spring
loaded door.
 Shake lightly or tap sides to dislodge debris.
 Close door, pressing firmly until lock button engages.
To reattach:
 Position the two sections as shown.
 Secure the hook on the dust bowl to the tab on the handle.
NOTE: Make sure hook is secured to the tab before
securing the dust bowl.
 Snap the two sections together.
REMOVING BLOCKAGES AND CLEANING THE
BEATER BAR
 Remove the battery pack.
 Remove the beater bar assembly from the wand or stick
vacuum and clear any obstructions with a blunt object.
 Wait at least 1 minute before reattaching the assembly.
