INAPPROPRIATE USE

All uses exceeding the concept of intended use:
• e.g. operation using different media, pressures
• use of gases in the liquid phase
• installation against the flow direction
• operation with inappropriate hose assemblies
• changes to the product or parts of the product
• operate indoors
• installation differs from installation position (see page 15)
• operation with rotary knob in intermediate position
• withdrawal from horizontal gas cylinders
• operation while driving
• use at ambient temperature varying from: see TECHNICAL DATA
• gas cylinder freezing:
If LPG is withdrawn too quickly or is continuously withdrawn from the cylinder on
the operating side, the temperature of the gas falls and, as a result, the cylinder pressure
drops below the required inlet pressure of the regulator. LPG is then also withdrawn from the
spare cylinder.
• Proper operation of the system is no longer guaranteed.,
• The LPG cylinders on both sides may be emptied simultaneously or also at different rates.

ADVANTAGES AND EQUIPMENT

Automatic changeover valve with integrated
low pressure regulator for two-cylinder
systems, for connection to gas cylinders with
high pressure hose assemblies to regulate the
pressure to the nominal pressure of the gas
equipment, consisting of:
automatic changeover valve, integrated low
pressure regulator with pressure relief valve,
control knob, operating and reserve display,
sealing nut, non-return gas valve, test device,
screw aid and wall bracket.
Installing a gas filter
We recommend installation of a gas filter (Part no. 71 781 02) in front of the
automatic changeover valve. LPG may contain foreign matter, such as dirt particles. From a
certain size, these particles are trapped in the filter. If no gas filter is installed, wear and tear
of sensitive components is increased and the complete LPG system may break down.
