1 - APPLICATION
Respireo N Non Vented is a nasal mask without calibrated vent ports (Non Vented), for use by a single patient.
Respireo N Non Vented is designed for use by patients who have been prescribed non-invasive positive
pressure ventilation (NPPV) treatment.
Respireo N Non Vented only exists in the version for adults (>30 kg).
2 - IMPORTANT NOTES
2.1 The mask must only be used with a ventilator fitted with an active exhalation valve and/or with a
respiratory circuit with an exhalation valve.
2.2 The operating pressure range is 4-24 cmH
2.3 Consult your family doctor or therapist if you experience any discomfort, irritation or an allergic
reaction to any of the components.
2.4 If oxygen is used with the ventilator, the oxygen supply must be turned off when the ventilator is
not in use.
2.5 Never smoke or use naked flames when using oxygen.
2.6 Do not use the mask in the presence of nausea or vomiting.
2.7 The mask needs to be cleaned and disinfected. For further details, refer to section 7 - CLEANING
AND DISINFECTING THE MASK.
2.8 Check the mask thoroughly before using it for the first time. If you notice any damage, inform your
local dealer.
2.9 The appliance must never be used for applications other than that described in this manual.
2.10 Some of the components are small enough to be swallowed by children, so they must never be
left unattended. An adult must always be present if the mask is used by a child.

4 - HOW TO PUT ON THE MASK (Fig. B)
The mask comes fully assembled.
Proceed as follows to put on the mask.
Hold the assembled mask firmly in one hand and use the other to stretch the headgear (f) enough to
put it over your head (Fig. 1).
Place the mask gently on the face so that the cushion (a) fits snugly round the nose and place the
headgear (f) over your head (Fig. 2).
Attach the two lower ends of the headgear (f) to the connectors in the main body (b) (Fig. 3).
