This appliance is designed to burn wood, it must not be used as an incinerator or to burn liquid fuels, coal or coal derivatives.
When installing and using the hearth, observe local and national regulations, as well as European standards (1).
The hearth become hot when in use, especially the glass. It stays hot for a long time, even if the flames are no longer visible. Take precautions to
avoid contact with the hearth (keep children away from it).
Before accessing the electrical connection devices, the power circuits must be disconnected.
This appliance must be installed as per the specifications of applicable standards (1). It is highly advisable that a qualified professional install the
appliance.
The instructions contained in this manual must be followed carefully. Keep this manual in a safe place.
The manufacturer is only responsible for supplying of the device. The manufacturer is not responsible for any failure to comply with these
instructions.
It is especially forbidden to:
- Place materials that could be damaged or affected by the heat (furniture, wallpaper, woodwork, etc.) close to the appliance.
- Install any type of heat recovery system not recommended by the manufacturer
- Use of any fuel other than natural wood.
- Make any changes to the appliance or installation not indicated by the manufacturer. This would exempt the manufacturer from liability and void
the warranty. Use only manufacturer recommended replacement parts.
The person who performs the installation work is fully responsible for complying with the instructions contained in these two documents.
