Note
1.
The product is a Multi-Stream Transport (MST) hub and supports the
extended desktop configuration of DisplayPort. In Windows, the connected
monitors are controlled individually, and can be combined into one large
display.
2.
A single DisplayPort 1.4 connection has a limit amount of bandwidth. This
limits the number of displays that can be connected through an MST hub
depending on the displays resolution, timing and refresh rate. Please see
below for bandwidth usage of different resolutions:
1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz uses 11 %, 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz uses 15 %
bandwidth
2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz uses 17 %, 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz uses 19 %
bandwidth
3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz uses 22 %, 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz uses 43 %
bandwidth
7680 x 4320 @ 30 Hz uses 95 % bandwidth
If the graphics card supports DSC, higher resolutions and refresh rates are
possible.
3.
Please use short length and high-quality cables, especially for higher
resolutions.
