PALSON PRACTIK rechargeable vacuum cleaner.
Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time.
How to charge the vacuum cleaner.
Your vacuum cleaner is only partially charged and therefore must be charged in its holder for 14 hours before being used
for the first time. The appliance can only be used with the charger supplied. The charger can be plugged into any suitable
wall socket. The vacuum cleaner must not be charged outdoors.

Ensure that the charger pin (12) is correctly inserted into the power socket on the charger holder (10).

Plug the adaptor (11) into a wall socket. When the charger indicator light is illuminated, the battery is charging
correctly.
-
The vacuum cleaner normally takes 14 hours to charge.
PRECAUTIONS:
-
No not use outdoors.
-
Do not expose the appliance to rain.
-
To avoid the appliance overheating and the battery or the appliance becoming damaged, do not use the vacuum
cleaner while it is charging.
-
Do not use the appliance as if it were a toy. You must be particularly attentive when children use it.
-
Only use the appliance as described in the instruction booklet. Only use the accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
-
Do not use extension cables or plugs with an insufficient power rating.
-
Do not use the charger or the vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
-
Do not burn or destroy the batteries as they explode at high temperatures.
-
Do not vacuum up anything that is burning or that is emitting smoke, such as cigarettes, matches or hot material.
-
Do not use the appliance without the filter being in its holder.
-
Do not use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum up inflammable or combustible liquids such as petrol, or in areas where
such liquids it may be found.
-
Do not vacuum up sharp waste material, whether large or small, such as glass.
-
Place the adaptor in a cool, dry place that is not exposed to extreme weather to avoid electric shock and / or damage
to the vacuum cleaner.
-
The battery must only be replaced by the manufacturer or his authorised technical agent so as to avoid any risk.
-
Always unplug the cable from the power socket before using the vacuum cleaner.
-
Only use the charger provided by the manufacturer to recharge the appliance.
-
This vacuum cleaner is designed for domestic use only. It is not for professional use.
-
Do not hold the nozzle or the appliance near your eyes or ears when it is operating.
-
To achieve best performance, always keep the appliance and the filters clean, repairing or replacing damaged
filters.
-
Never unplug the appliance from the power socket by pulling on the cable when it is charging.
-
This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) whose physical, sensorial or mental state
prevents them from using it safely or who lack the necessary experience or knowledge, unless supervised or given
instructions regarding the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised
to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
How to use the vacuum cleaner

Press the On / Off switch (3) forwards to start the appliance. The switch is on a spring: when you have finished using
the appliance take your finger off the switch and the vacuum cleaner will stop. If you notice that the power of the
vacuum cleaner is low or there is no power, the appliance must be recharged.

For optimum vacuuming of dirt/dust in gaps/slots and other places that are difficult to access, it is advisable to use the
accessory for corners (14). To vacuum up liquid use the accessory for liquids (13).

To vacuum solids: check that the dust compartment is empty, clean and dry.
-
To vacuum up liquids: use the accessory for vacuuming liquids. Check that the compartment is empty and clean.

Check the level of residue in the dust compartment by standing the appliance upright, with the nozzle facing
downwards. Empty the dust compartment before it reaches the maximum level.
Mounting the charger holder.
Your vacuum cleaner comes with a holder especially designed for wall mounting. (Fig. 1)

To mount the holder on the wall, hold it against the wall in the desired position, and mark the position of the holes
with a pencil on the wall or surface where the holder is to be mounted. Make sure that the holder is vertical.

Drill the holes using a drill bit the same diameter as the raw plugs supplied. Put a plastic raw plug in each hole.

Screw the screws into each raw plug.
4.
Position the holder, moving the holder downwards so that the screws enter the slots.
How to empty the vacuum cleaner.
-
Always switch off the vacuum cleaner before opening it.
-
Push the button for opening the dust compartment (5) downwards and separate the dust compartment from the rest
of the vacuum cleaner. (fig. 2).

Remove the filter and its holder from the dust compartment and empty it (Fig. 3, 4, 5)

Remove any dust and dirt from the filter with a brush. The interior of the dust compartment can be cleaned with a
damp cloth.

To clean the filter more thoroughly, rinse it with cold or tepid water.
-
Ensure that it is correctly fitted before using the vacuum cleaner again.
-
You will only be able to vacuum up the maximum amount of dust when the filter is clean and the dust compartment
is empty.
NOTE: Removal of the battery must be carried out by the manufacturer or his authorised technical agent to avoid any risk.
