Operation
Function Modes
The IB-WRP201SD has 4 different functions
Mode 1: WLAN SD/SDHC/SDXC card-reader or USB flash disk reader
Please put in a valid SD card or USB flash disk (please make sure USB interface function switch is
switched to the right as USB flash disk reader) then turn on the power and enjoy it. When you turn
on the power of IB-WRP201SD, it will run on mode 1 automatically (Power LED will be lit in white).
You can connect IB-WRP201SD via the Micro USB port to a power supply any time without
interrupting your usage.
Note: SD card-reader and USB flash disk reader cannot be used at the same time. Please make sure
only one storage media is connected in case any unexpected error occurs.
Mode 2: USB 2.0 SD / SDHC / SDXC card-reader
When you connect the IB-WRP201SD with a PC via USB 2.0 cable when the IB-WRP201SD is powered-
off, the IB-WRP201SD will be connected to the PC as a USB SD card-reader automatically (Power LED
will be lit in blue). If the hosted PC can provide enough power on its USB port, the IB-WRP201SD will
start to charge while you are using it (Battery LED will be blinking in green).
Note: If you press the power button when the IB-WRP201SD is in Mode 1, it will immediately change
to Mode 2 (Power LED will be lit from blue to white).
Mode 3: LAN to WLAN AP function
When you connect IB-WRP201SD to a functional LAN cable, it will automatically recognize its signal
and start to transfer signal from LAN to WLAN. At this moment, by connecting your device to the IB-
WRP201SD, you can enjoy the IB-WRP201SD's WLAN SD card-reader function and AP function at the
same time (Mode 3 and Mode 1 can be run at the same time).
Note: When a functional LAN cable is connected to the IB-WRP201SD, WLAN bridge function will be
shut down automatically. If you would like to use WLAN bridge function, please disconnect LAN cable
from the IB-WRP201SD
Mode 4: Powerbank function
IB-WRP201SD can output a 5V power via its USB interface. Please switch USB interface function
switch to the left as powerbank output to enable this function. Mode 4 can be enable either IB-
WRP201SD is power-on or power-off, and can be used with Mode 1, 2, and 3.
Note: When Mode 4 is enabled, WLAN USB flash disk reader function is disabled.
Apps
In order to get access with your mobile device you have to download the ICY BOX Link App in your
App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). Now connect your mobile device via WLAN to the ICY BOX IB-
WRP201SD.
The default WLAN ID is "IB-WRP201SD _XXX", where XXX is a
tree digit hex code. The default WLAN password is 12345678.
Attention: Please alter this WLAN ID as soon as possible for security reasons to a personal value.
