1.4 Setup
1. Select a proper location to operate the UPS
The UPS should only be operated indoors in a clean environment, away from windows and
doors. Place on a flat surface away from dust, humidity, high temperatures, liquids, gases,
or corrosive and conductive contaminants.
Maintain a minimum clearance of 100mm from the bottom of the UPS. Be certain to place in
a well-ventilated area; avoid blocking the fan's air flow by maintaining a minimum clearance
100mm to the front and 300mm in the rear of the UPS.
Operate at or below a maximum altitude of 3000m for normal operation at full load.
2. UPS input connection
Plug the UPS into a two-pole, three-wire, grounded receptacle only. Avoid using extension cords.
For 200/208/220/230/240VAC models: The power cord supplied with this UPS is detachable.
Note: Check if the site wiring fault indicator lights up in LCD panel. It will be illuminated when
the UPS is plugged into an improperly wired utility power outlet (Refer to Troubleshooting section).
Check if there is a circuit breaker against overcurrent and short circuit between the mains and
AC input of the UPS for safe operation. The recommended protection value as following:
