emergency starter to support the
vehicle battery. Do not use it alone
instead of the battery.
Avoid the formation of flames or sparks. To
avoid sparks, make sure that the clamps
cannot disengage from the poles of the
battery during charging.
Stay away from moving parts such as
fans, transmission belts and pulleys.
Stay away from hot parts, such as engine
and cooling system to avoid burns.
Do not short circuit the terminals for the
emergency start cable because they are
always under tension.
Avoids that the red and black clamps
come into contact. Accidental short
circuits of the terminals caused by an
electrical conductor object for example a
tool, a jewel, etc. could generate enough
heat to cause serious burns, electric arc
or cause incandescent metal splashes.
Do not reverse the polarity of the positive
"+" negative and "-" terminals
Sequence of operations
Starter battery must be fully charged
(> 80%).
Carefully follow the starting procedure,
failure to comply may affect the life of
the appliance.
1
Make sure that the vehicle ignition
key is in the OFF position: all services
turned off.
2
Insert the cable with the clamps (B)
into the socket (1).
3
Verify the status of the led in the
smart booster cable:
Led GREEN + Led RED blinking

4
Connect red charging clamp to
positive (+) battery terminal and black
charging clamp (-) to negative battery
terminal.
If the battery is installed on a motor
vehicle, first connect the clamp to the
battery terminal that is not connected
to the bodywork. Afterwards, connect
the second clamp to the bodywork at
a point far from both the battery and
the petrol pipes.
5
Verify the status of the led in the
smart booster cable:
Led GREEN on = you have 30
seconds to start the vehicle.
After 30 seconds without starting,
the two led will return to the
condition of step 3; disconnect
and then reconnect the cable with
the clamps (B)
Led RED on = See paragraph
"Troubleshooting".
6
Rotate the ignition key for up to 3
seconds.
If the vehicle did not start wait at
least 30 seconds before trying again.
If the vehicle did not start even the
second time wait at least 2 minutes.
¾ After starting leave the engine running and
disconnect the starter:
¾ Disconnect in the order the black clamp
"-" and then the red clamp "+".
¾ Disconnect the cable with the clamps from
the starter and put everything into its box.
Use as power supply
