The Barryvox S allows you to enter

or e­mail address. This information is
displayed every time the transceiver
is turned on. (See "Owner" in chapter

Settings
For advanced recreational and
professional users, you can adjust
the Barryvox S "Pro Settings" to best

fit your requirements and abilities, for
example to turn on the "Pro­Search"
and "Pro­Check" feature. (See "Pro
Settings" in chapter "Settings" of
the Barryvox S Extended Reference
®
Guide.)

Device to Device Update
Thanks to the device­to­device
update you may share the new
functions of your firmware with older
Barryvox S devices. Do not use
®
the update function while you are
already in the terrain. (See "Device
to Device Update" in chapter "Set­
tings" of the Barryvox S Extended
®
Reference Guide.)
Requirements for the device to device update:
Battery charge in both devices greater 30%.

Only one upgrade can be done at a time in the same build­

ing or within 50m radius.
Only devices of the same w­link region (no device­to­device

upgrade for devices purchased in Japan).
Follow the instructions on the screen.

