DESCRIPTION
Installing and Removing the Battery
The hedge trimmer will operate when the battery is installed,
the power indicator LED is lit, and the trigger switch and front
handle operator presence switch are engaged. Make sure the
hedge trimmer is properly positioned to prevent loss of control
and possible serious injury. Keep movable parts of the hedge
trimmer off the ground and away from objects that could become
entangled.

Stop the machine and wait until the motor stops before you install or
remove the battery.

Align the ridges on the battery with the grooves in the battery
compartment.

Push the battery into the battery compartment until the battery
locks into place.
