GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Instruct all persons in the safe use of the
engine.
• Watch the moving installation (roller shut-
ter, awning, blind) and keep people away
from it until the movement has stopped.
• Do not allow children to play with the
radio receiver and transmitter.
• Store hand-held transmitters in such a
way that unintentional operation, e.g. by
playing children, is impossible.
• Secure the controlled system against un-
authorised operation. Take safety precau-
tions against unintentional switching on.
• Carry out all cleaning work on the roll-
er shutter, the awning or the blind in a
de-energised state.
• Use caution when operating the open/ex-
tended unit as parts may fall if fastenings
(e.g. springs) weaken or are broken.

• After unpacking, compare the unit type
with the corresponding information on
the type plate.
Incomplete units or units that do not
must not be put into operation.
• Never use defective or damaged equip-
