Pruning shears safety warnings
1.
Do not use the pruning shear in bad weather
conditions, especially when there is a risk of
lightning. T h i s d e c r e a s e s t h e r i s k o f b e i n g s t r u c k
b y l i g h t n i n g .
2.
Keep all power cords and cables away from
cutting area. P o w e r c o r d s o r c a b l e s m a y b e
h i d d e n a n d c a n b e a c c i d e n t a l l y c u t b y t h e b l a d e .
3.
Hold the pruning shear by insulated gripping
surfaces only, because the blade may contact
hidden wiring. B l a d e s c o n t a c t i n g a " l i v e " w i r e
m a y m a k e e x p o s e d m e t a l p a r t s o f t h e p r u n i n g
s h e a r " l i v e " a n d c o u l d g i v e t h e o p e r a t o r a n e l e c t r i c
s h o c k .

Keep all parts of the body away from the blade.
Do not remove cut material or hold material to
be cut when blades are moving.

W hen clearing jammed material or servicing
the pruning shear, make sure the power switch
is o and the battery pack is removed or dis-
connected. U n e x p e c t e d a c t u a t i o n o f t h e p r u n i n g
shear while clearing jammed material or servicing
may result in serious personal injury.

Carry the pruning shear by the handle with the
blade stopped and taking care not to operate
the power switch. P r o p e r c a r r y i n g o f t h e p r u n i n g
s h e a r w i l l d e c r e a s e t h e r i s k o f i n a d v e r t e n t s t a r t i n g
and resultant personal injury from the blades.

Check the hedges and bushes for foreign
objects, such as wire fences or hidden wiring
before operating the tool.

Hold the tool firmly hen using the tool.
The tool is intended to be used by the operator

or any other unstable support.
