12 Initial working procedures
Wear suitable gloves and clothing before using this tool. Check the tool before
working and verify the correct operation of the switch. The chain must stop when the trigger is
released. Do not use the chainsaw if the switch fails. Check that the battery voltage matches the
tool voltage.
The electric motor stops when the trigger is released, but the chain will continue
moving by inertia for a few seconds. Do not touch the chain while it is moving to avoid the risk of
injury or wounds.
•
Hold the saw firmly with both hands.
•
Make sure that the chain and bar are not in contact with any object.
•
Press the safety button with your thumb to unlock the trigger.
•
Press the trigger all the way down and the machine will start.
•
Do not exceed the cutting dimensions to protect the saw and battery from possible damages.
•
Do not cut branches larger than those indicated in the technical specifications.
•
Release the trigger if the chain is blocked, the engine stops.
: in case of a blocked chain, before intervening, release the trigger and remove the battery.
