Disposal of packaging :
Dispose of the packaging according to type. Put cardboard and card into waste paper, and foil and bags in the recyclables collection
Disposal of waste equipment
Only for EU countries. Do not throw electrical items in household waste! The owner of the electrical device can dispose of the waste equipment by handing it over, for example, to a collection point in
his municipality/borough, which will ensure that it is properly recycled.
Separate collection of waste equipment:
Electrical and electronic equipment that has become waste is referred to as waste equipment. Owners of waste equipment must dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Waste equipment in
particular does not belong in household waste, but in special collection and return systems. Options for returning waste equipment: Owners of waste equipment from private households can return it to the
collection points of the public waste management authorities or to the collection points set up by manufacturers or distributors within the meaning of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, or directly
to the manufacturer.
Disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries:
Battery type
Rechargeable battery
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of in the household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to take batteries and rechargeable batteries for separate
collection. Batteries and rechargeable batteries can be handed in free of charge at a collection point in your municipality/district or in shops so that they can be disposed of in
an environmentally friendly way and valuable raw materials can be recovered. In case of improper disposal, toxic ingredients may be released into the environment, causing
adverse health effects to humans, animals and plants. Batteries and rechargeable batteries contained in electrical appliances must be disposed separately from the appliance
whenever possible. Only return batteries and rechargeable batteries when they are discharged.
For batteries and rechargeable batteries containing lithium, tape off the terminals before disposal to prevent external short-circuiting. A short circuit can lead to a fire or
explosion.
