Intended use
Heated wells are intended for keeping food hot in the Gastronorm
containers that are put in them. To reliably ensure that the food is kept
hot, heating from above using a heat lamp is necessary. Covering the
Gastronorm containers with a lid helps to keep food hot.
Heated wells are designed for installation in counters or worktops.
They are operated in closed buildings.
Any use other than or beyond this is considered inappropriate. Proper
use also includes observing the operating instructions and the condi-
tions for inspection and maintenance.
3.2
Improper use
All uses other than the intended one are improper. Incorrect use of the
heated well may result in damage or injury.
In particular, avoid the following inappropriate operating situations:
■
Operation without Gastronorm containers or with empty containers
■
Placing objects or food on the glass ceramic plate.
■
Cleaning the access doors in a dishwasher
■
Cleaning stainless steel and glass ceramic surfaces with abrasive
sponges or scouring agent. Aggressive cleaning agents (such as
oven spray) are not suitable either.
■
Placing objects on the heated well.
■
Placing objects on the sneeze guard of an installed gantry lamp
module
■
Placing objects on the access door
