MF Control
1 Identification
The MF Control offers the mobile option of visualising MFS-V3 process data and parameterising the job
mode. MFS service software V6.0 or above is pre-installed on the device.
The MF Control must only be operated using original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts.
These operating instructions describe the MF Control in combination with the
wire feeder MFS-V3 (eBOX MFS-V3).
1.1 CE marking
This device fulfils the requirements of the valid EU directives.

2 Safety

This section provides key information on the safe operation of the product. Please read it carefully and make
sure that all users are familiar with its contents before using the system for the first time.

• Read and observe the operating instructions before carrying out specific work such as commissioning,
operation, transport and maintenance.
2.1 Designated use
• The MF Control is only intended for use in conjunction with the MFS-V3 (eBOX MFS-V3) wire feeder.
• The device described in these instructions may be used only for the purpose and in the manner
described in these instructions. In doing so, observe the operating, maintenance and servicing
conditions.
• Any other use is considered improper.
• Unauthorised modifications or changes to enhance the performance are not permitted.
2.2 Obligations of the operator
• Store the operating instructions within easy reach of the device for reference and enclose them when
passing on the product.
• Commissioning, operating and maintenance work may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Qualified personnel are persons who, based on their special training, knowledge and experience, are
able to assess the tasks assigned to them and identify possible dangers (in Germany, see TRBS 1203).
• Keep other people out of the work area.
• Please observe the occupational health and safety regulations of the relevant country.
• Ensure the work area is well lit and keep it clean.

Arbeitsschutzgesetz (Occupational Health and Safety Act) and Betriebssicherheitsverordnung
