Using the massager
Please read all the instruction prior to us-
ing the Skin Mass, in particular these few ba-
sic safety instructions.
Only use this appliance for the purposes de-
scribed in this manual. This appliance can be
used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play with the appli-
ance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision. Please
use the adaptor supplied with the appliance
only. Using any other adapter risks harming the
proper operation of the appliance. Please do
not use accessories which are not recommend-
ed by Lanaform or which are not supplied with
this appliance. If it does not operate correctly,
if it falls on the floor or if it is damaged or falls
into water, have the appliance examined and re-
paired by the supplier or its after sales depart-
ment. Do not carry this appliance by its power
supply lead or use this lead as a handle. If the
power lead is damaged, it must be replaced by
a special or similar lead available from the sup-
plier or aftersales department. Do not use this
product before going to bed. Massage has a
stimulating effect which may inhibit sleep. Nev-
er use this appliance in a room where aerosol
products (sprays) are used or in a room where
oxygen is administered. Do not use the appli-
ance on or close to the eyes or other sensitive
areas. Do not wrap the power lead around the
appliance. Make sure the product is not dam-
aged before using it. Skin Mass is a massag-
ing appliance designed for non-professional
use. Do not use this appliance as a substitute
for proper medical care. Keep the appliance in
motion when using it. The appliance is not wa-
tertight and cannot be used under the show-
er. Use Skin Mass on clean, dry skin. Never use

the appliance if it has fallen into water. Regu-
lar cleaning of the filter is essential because it
can harm the suction. Never operate the appli-
ance under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heat
may be created and cause a fire, electrocution
or injury. Always unplug the appliance from the
power supply immediately after use and before
cleaning. Never insert objects into openings in
the appliance. Before unplugging the appli-
ance, please be sure to set the control button
to the "0" position. An appliance should nev-
er be left unsupervised when it is plugged in.
If you are worried about your health, consult a
doctor before using this appliance. If you feel
any pain while using this appliance, stop using
it immediately and consult your doctor. People
fitted with a heart pacemaker should consult a
doctor before using this device. Never use this
product directly on inflammation or swollen ar-
eas or where there is a skin rash. Long use may
lead to the production of excessive heat and
shorten the life of the appliance. Consequent-
ly we advise using the appliance for a period
of 10 minutes and then it should be left to cool
down between sessions.
Description of
the Skin Mass
A few words concerning the squeezing-roll-
ing technique...
Excess fats make skin look uneven and make
the figure look unpleasing, but the practice of
squeezing and rolling helps disperse this fat
and even prevents it from forming. It is a mat-
ter of carrying out a continuous action of pres-
sure and pinching accompanied by progressive
movement from bottom to top (in the direction
of blood circulation) on the area to be treated,
so as to cause a sort of rolling. The pressure and
pinching knead and break the fat nodes and
the heat created by this friction then helps the
body remove them from the part being mas-
saged. This technique also acts on blood mi-
crocirculation which promotes lymph drainage.
