While operating the pressure washer, if the water flow
decreases or becomes irregular, release the trigger and
turn the appliance off.
Press the gun trigger (15) to release the pressure and check
for any blockage in the spray nozzle (4). If you suspect an
obstruction, use the cleaning needle to remove the
accumulated debris.
It is important that the nozzle is regularly inspected and
cleaned.
Cleaning
Clean the washer after each use. Careful handling protects
the petrol high pressure washer and extends its service life.
1. After stopping the engine, turn the water supply off;
2. Release the water pressure by pointing the gun in a safe
direction and pull the trigger;
3. Disassemble the high-pressure hose, gun, lance and
nozzle;
4. Drain the water from all accessories and use a cloth to
clean the outside of the hose, nozzle and gun;
5. Empty the water from the pump by pulling the recoil
starter several times;
6. Store the appliance in a clean and dry place.
Storage
Preparing storage for long periods is vital to avoid problems
and increase the useful life of the high-pressure washer.
Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank.
Depending on the region and storage conditions, petrol can
deteriorate and oxidize, causing damages in the carburetor
and fuel system, difficult starts and clogging caused by
particle accumulation.
If you have stored the machine with petrol on the tank, to
avoid
difficult
start-ups,
recommendations below considering the previous storage
period:
Less than 1 month:
▪ Follow the usual procedure.
1 month to 1 year:
▪ Drain all petrol from the fuel tank (5);
▪ Run the engine until it stops due to lack of fuel.
Over 1 year:
▪ Drain all petrol from the fuel tank (5);
▪ Run the engine until it stops due to lack of fuel;
▪ Change the oil;
▪ Remove the spark plug (30) and add engine oil (5-10 cl)
to the cylinder;
▪ Pull the recoil starter (6) to dispense the oil into the
cylinder and reinstall the spark plug;
▪ Pull the recoil starter slowly while feeling resistance. The
piston rises and the intake and exhaust valves are
closed. Leaving the engine in this position will help
protect against internal corrosion.
If you are not going to use the appliance for more than three
months or if there is the possibility of freeze during winter
time, the pump needs to be protected to avoid damage
caused by the cold.
To protect the pump, add coolant. Gently pour the coolant
into the pump inlet.
When the coolant comes out the outlet, seal the outlet with
a stopper or other suitable cap. Continue to pour the
coolant until the pump is filled. Seal the inlet the same way
as the outlet.
When using the appliance for the first time after this period,
make sure that the coolant is completely drained from the
pump, hose and nozzle.
When using the appliance for the first time, you may notice
small leaks in the pump. These will disappear after a while.
