3.2. Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE appliance
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 85%. Place the appliance in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain
a minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the appliance. Keep the appliance
away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the appliance on a level, stable, clean,
fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons of impaired
mental, sensory and intellectual functions. Place the appliance in such a way that
the mains plug can be reached at any time. Ensure that the power supply to the
appliance corresponds to that specified on the identification plate!
Before the first use, disassemble and thoroughly wash all food contact parts, i.e.:
screw ring, cutting plates, knife, worm shaft, internal grinding chamber, pusher,
butcher funnel and feeder tray.
Dry the components thoroughly, and then assemble the appliance.
ASSEMBLY OF THE appliance
1. Loosen the lock knob.
2. Place the inner part of the grinding chamber into the outer part. Ensure
that the positioning pin is in the correct position.
3. Place the worm shaft inside the grinding chamber.
4. Tighten the lock knob so that the grinding chamber does not move.
Do not use tools, tighten the knob by hand.
5. Place the knife and the selected cutting plate on the stem protruding from
the worm shaft.
6. Lock the whole thing with the screw ring.
