D. Open and execute CAM_EZ Search (as shown in Figure 2). The system will scan the IP-CAM that you just installed
automatically. Then, you will find 255 IP CAM in the column of Camera Lists. Click 255IP CAM with left mouse button.
You can see the default settings for CMPNWIP-CAM21.

7 How to set up IP CAM
Before you set up IP CAM, you have to know the network environment and if the IP address is fixed or automatic provided
by your ISP. If you do not know, please contact your ISP and ask for help. Common network structure (1~7 types) is
listed in section 2.4 of the manual. You can refer to the list to find out what type is suitable for your computer and finish
the setting as the instructions given in section 1.8. To set up IP-CAM and IP address, change the way of obtaining the IP
address for the IP-CAM. You can see the following example.
8. Setting the way to obtain the IP address of IP-CAM
STATIC – IP Address setting
Your computer must be equipped with a network card and RJ-45 network connector.
Connect the RJ-45 terminator on the rear of the CMP-NWIPCAM21 to the red test network cable. One end is
connected to the network card of the computer; the other end is connected to the rear side of the CMP-NWIPCAM21.
Connect the power adapter to the power port (on the rear) of IP-CAM. Now, the status LED on the top of the CMP-
NWIPCAM21 will light up.

Open and execute CAM_EZ Search (as shown in Figure 3). The system will scan the IP-CAM that you just installed
automatically. Then, you will find 255IP CAM in the column of camera lists. Click 255IP CAM with left mouse button. You
can see the default settings for IP-CAM.

Step 1. Click Update. You can see 255IF CAM.

default setting is 80.

Step 3. Make sure the IP setting is STATIC.
Step 4. Double click on 255IP CAM to open the
browser. Type ID/Password to access network
monitoring screen. If you can see the image screen, it
means that IP-CAM is ready to be used.
