3. Connect to the
APP
3.1 Download and install the APP
Scan the following QR CODE to download
and install the APP.
Connect the device and the mobile phone,
download APP "Lotus SmarTime" and install.
• Android Google play search" LOTUS Smar-
time" and install, logo like:
• iOS: Apple store search" LOTUS Smartime"
and install, logo like:
Remarks: Please approve all permissions when
installing the APP to get full functionality.
After installing the APP, click "Lotus SmarTime"
and turn on the Bluetooth, there will pop up
activation notification, please confirm it. Enter
into the Device>>Connect watch to enter into
searching device interface, select Lotus S9 and
connect it.
Remarks: some phones with Android OS
should turn on the GPS to get the Bluetooth.
3.2. Message notifications:
Enter mobile Settings-Apps-Lotus Smar-
Time-Permissions, turn on all permissions.
Enter mobile Settings-Notifications-Lotus
SmarTime, turn on all permissions.
And then go to the APP and turn on "SMS"
in the APP. The watch display message no-
tification and vibrate when there is incoming
message.
Others APP notification:
Turn on corresponding APP notifications in
the APP, such as WeChat, Outlook, Face-
book,etc., notifications. The watch display
corresponding APP notifications when there
is incoming APP notifications.
Simple way to common problems:
Because there is difference between differ-
ent mobile phones, sometimes the unstable
connection between phone and watch hap-
pens. Please turn off the Bluetooth of phone
and reconnect the watch. Restart the phone/
the watch or reset the watch if it doesn't work.
3.3. Connect the watch with
Bluetooth
Disconnect: connected:
3.3.1 Connected APP status:
Time sync: The timing of the watch sync to
the phone when it is connected.
3.3.2 connect the Audio Bluetooth
Slide the main screen from up to down to the
shortcut interface, click the icon
the Audio Bluetooth on watch. Then go to
the Bluetooth of the phone, find the corre-
sponding Bluetooth name to connect.
3.4 Disconnect watch
Disconnect the watch in the app; Device/Dis-
connect watch. Disconnect Audio Bluetooth
by using Shortcut in watch and tap the tele-
phone icon.
iPhone users need to take Forget device in
Bluetooth menu in mobile as well.
Please note you must be connected to have
the data synchronized and saved in the app.
3.5 Find Watch
If connected, tap Find Watch in app to local-
ize the watch. The watch display lights up and
vibrate. Confirm found watch by pressing the
button.
3.6 Camera
Tap "Shake to take a picture" in the app to
activate remote camera in the watch. Tap the
Camera icon on the watch take a photo. Pic-
tures will be saved in the phone gallery auto-
matically.
3.6 Synchronization
Connect the watch with the app. It will sync
the watch data to the app automatically.
