Remove the attached accessory.

Open the hinges at the side of the bowl (only for
model GPM1020P).

Lift the bowl out of its holding by the two side
handles (for model GPM1020P) or by its rim (for
model GPM1010).

When you reattach the bowl, make sure that it
sits safely on the holding bolts on both sides.
Additionally, the bolt on the bowl itself should
point backwards and also sit safely in its
holding. Then close both hinges at the side of
the bowl (only for model GPM1020P).

Before operating the appliance, attach one of
the accessories, close the movable safety guard
and lift the bowl using the lifting/lowering lever.
Notes about dust
The regular handling of dusty ingredients, such
as flour, poses a health risk. To minimize this risk,
please follow the below tips:
•
Handle bagged products carefully by minimizing
the height above the bowl base from which they
are poured.
•
Slit bags carefully in the lower part of the bowl
to allow a dust free discharge of flour as far as
possible.
•
Use temporary bowl covers to minimize
openings through which flour may escape.
•
Wear respiratory protective equipment while
handling flour, especially during manual loading
of the appliance.
•
Step away from the appliance when it is mixing
dry ingredients.
•
Consult the supplier's hazard data sheets.
Overload switch
The appliance is
equipped with an
overload switch,
situated at the back
of the appliance
next to the power
cord entry. If the
appliance becomes
too hot, the overload switch will automatically stop
the appliance. If this happens:
1.
Turn off and unplug the appliance.
2.
Remove some of the foodstuff in the bowl to
reduce its load.
3.
Push the overload switch back in to reset it.
4.
Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 20
minutes.
NOTE: In the event of a power cut, the overload
switch will be activated to prevent the appliance from
restarting automatically when power is restored.

After use
NOTE: Clean the appliance thoroughly after each
use to keep it in a good and safe working condition
and to ensure hygienic operation.
Cleaning
•
Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from
its power source.
•
Do not clean the appliance with metallic
implements, steel wool, strong chemicals, alkali,
abrasive or disinfecting agents as they may
damage the surface of the appliance or leave
harmful residues.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids to clean it. Make sure that the electrical
parts do not become wet or damp.
•
Clean the body of the appliance with a soft damp
cloth and, if necessary, some mild detergent.
Wipe with a dry and soft cloth.
•
Clean all accessories and the bowl with warm
water, using a soft sponge and mild detergent.
Wipe with a dry and soft cloth.
•
If the bowl and accessories are very dirty, a
plastic scraper may be additionally used for
cleaning.
•
The appliance may only be used again after it is
dried completely.
Maintenance
WARNING! There is a hazard of residual voltage,
especially from capacitors, during maintenance.
•
Before maintenance, disconnect the appliance
from its power source.
•
Oil the gear cavity and the bowl lifting/lowering
mechanism regularly. Lubricate the gear and
shaft bearing every 6 months.
•
It is recommend that this appliance undergoes
a thorough safety test on an annual basis to
ensure it remains safe.
Storage
•
Before storage, always make sure that the
appliance is clean and completely dry.
•
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place,
protected from moisture and out of the reach of
children.
•
To protect the appliance from dust, cover it with
a cloth You can also store the appliance in its
original packaging.
