ROTOR HARDNESS ADJUSTMENT
If the rotor is too hard to push, it is necessary to adjust the positioner unit (fig.12).
Specifically, it is necessary to loosen nut A and gradually unscrew hub B until the desired rotor hardness is obtained. Re-tighten nut A after the procedure.
If the rotor is too loose, follow the reverse procedure (tighten the hub).
ROTOR SLOWDOWN ADJUSTMENT
If the rotor does not slow down enough during the closing phase, it is necessary to adjust the decelerator unit (fig.13).
Specifically, it is necessary to first loosen (DO NOT completely unscrew) screw A that secures ring nut B of the decelerator and turn it.
The slowdown of the rotor will be greater as the number on the ring increases.
If the rotor slowdown is excessive, follow the reverse procedure (decrease the number on the ring).
SETTING OPERATION IN A POWER FAILURE
The turnstile with the factory settings will remain locked in both directions or can be set according to what was agreed with the customer, if there is no
voltage.
To modify this operation, it is necessary to operate electromagnets A and B of figure 11, positioned in the mechanism.
Specifically, it is necessary to turn the electromagnet corresponding to the direction to be released in the event of a power failure (remember that magnet
"A" adjusts the clockwise rotation of the rotor, observing it on the plant, while magnet "B" adjusts the anti-clockwise rotation).
To do this, remove the power supply and then remove the cover/seeger that fixes pin A of fig.15. Remove pin A, disconnect the electromagnet wires and
unscrew the 4 V screws that secure it to the plate.
Remove magnet M of fig. 15 and turn release key C of fig. 14 so that the passage remains mechanically open by means of part B of fig. 15. Turn magnet
M by 180° and reposition the pin.
Lastly, reconnect the power wires of the electromagnet and close the lock with the release key.
