2. Operating instructions KRAZZMAXX IV
2.1 Power supply
Please have due regard to the model of the cow brush:
• Order No. 130.5010: for 220/230 V, 50/60 Hz
Insert the plug into a schuko socket.
2.2 Switching On/Off
Press the switch on the switch-box:

2.3 Note concerning direction of rotation
The direction of rotation of the cow brush is not prescribed. For this rea-
son the brushes may run either clockwise or anti-clockwise.
With each „restart", the brush rotates in a different direction. If the brush
is loaded too much during operation, the brush stops and starts again in
the other direction. (Reverse)
2.4 Electrical protection class
All the electronics are splash-proof (IP 54). The use of high-pressure clea-
ners on the motor and control unit is prohibited.
2.5 Overrun time
The run-on time is fixed. If the machine is idle, it switches off automati-
cally after approx. 20 seconds.
3. Exchanging the brushes
Note: The brushes are to be exchanged at your discretion. Replacement is
indicated, however, when the shortest bristles at less than 5cm long.

3.1 Replacing the upper brush
Procedure, (see Figure 6):
• Remove the screw (Pos. 1).
• Take off the disc (Pos. 2).
• Pull the brush from the square section (Pos. 3)

3.2 Replacing the lower brush
Procedure (see Figure 7):
• Remove the screws (Pos. 1) on the left and right.
• Loosen the 2 threaded pins on the flanged bearing.
• Pos. 2 can now be removed together with the lower bearing.
• Remove the locking ring (Pos. 3).
• Pull the brush off the square section (Pos. 4).
