Note:
On vehicles with CAN bus systems and lamp
failure monitoring, the CAN bus button must
be activated before the ignition is switched on
or the lighting is connected. Otherwise this
can lead to an error message from the lamp
failure monitoring in the driver display and the
function of the trailer tester being impaired.
To protect against overload, the load simula-
tors are automatically deactivated after 30
seconds.
After 1 minute, the function is available again.
A time bar in the CAN bus button shows the
user the remaining test time.
The CAN bus button must be activated for fur-
ther testing.
Testing the trailer
The test mode and plug type are shown in
the upper section of the screen. To test the
lighting, you can either press each symbol
individually or start a group test by pressing
the button "ALL". The test result is displayed
in green for "OK" or red for "error". Press
"Back" to return to the previous screen.
Attention: The trailer tester is only designed
for functional tests, not for endurance tests.

Automatic power-off
Both the trailer tester and the remote control switch off automatically after 5 minutes when
not in use. The user is informed of the automatic power-off via a frequented acoustic signal.
The trailer tester is also automatically switched off when the remote control is switched off
and does not need to be switched off separately.

once. By doing this, you can test whether the

trol is switched on first and asks the user to
switch on the trailer tester.
If this happens, please switch on the trailer
tester and press on the message in the display.
After doing this, the message will disappear
and the test can be continued.
