BEFORE FIRST USE
Before the first use, wash thoroughly the heating plates of the waffle-maker
cloth and wipe clean.
NOTE! Before cleaning the heating plates make sure the appliance is unplugged!
USING WAFFLE-MAKER
1. Grease the baking trays
2. Connect the appliance to a power source:
 the power light indicates
for the duration of its operation
 the thermostat light
the waffle iron has reached the desired temperature. The thermostat indicator light
switches on and off during operation.
3. Set the temperature to the desired value using the thermostat knob
you set the thermostat knob to the maximum value, and adjust the settings after the appli-
ance has preheated to the maximum temperature.
4. The waffle iron will heat up after about 3 minutes, indicated by the thermostat light
out. Check the cooking quality of the first waffles to adjust the time or temperature settings
if necessary.
5. Once the waffle iron is heated, open the top lid
plate and gently close the lid.

6. When closing and opening the lid, watch for waffle batter coming out of the sides of the
waffle iron.
7. Open the top cover
CAUTION: DO NOT USE METAL CUTLERY AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACE OF THE HOT PLATES!
8. When cooking is complete, turn the thermostat knob

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning (and after baking), pull out the plug from the outlet and allow the appliance
to cool down completely.
