Bridge Top and Panel
Carefully use the 1
1. Place bridge top upside down on a soft non-abrasive surface, such as a carpeted area, a furniture blanket or a piece of cardboard.
2. Remove the metal mounting plates attached to the under side of the bridge top. Reposition them over the existing holes so that the
plates extend out beyond the front and back edge of the bridge top. Use the same 1" wood screws previously removed to re-attach
the mounting plates to the under side of the bridge top.
3. Position desk and credenza in desired location. Leave 42" between the edge of the desk top and the edge of the credenza top. Level
both pieces by adjusting the leveling glides on the bottom of the panel legs.
4. Align the bridge top between the desk top and the credenza top. A minimum of two people will be required to do this.
5. Attach the mounting plates to the under side of the desk top using 1" wood screws. Make sure that the bridge top and the desk
remain aligned. A helper might be needed to insure that the two pieces of furniture remain aligned. A power screw driver is
recommended.
6. Re-align the bridge top and the credenza. The entire desk-bridge top assembly might need to be nudged so the bridge and credenza
align. Attach the mounting plates to the under side of the credenza top using 1" wood screws. Make sure that the bridge top and the
credenza remain aligned.
7. Slide the bridge panel underneath the bridge top and center it so it over laps equally over the desk and credenza legs.
8. Lift the bridge panel so it touches the under side of the bridge top and secure it in place using the 1
diagram.
9. Make sure that all screws are fully tightened.
