Description
Set the Rotary Switch to the NCV range. The LCD will display EF. Approach the front
end of the meter (where the sensor is) to the object or circuit to be tested. Upon
sensing voltage, the LCD will display "- -". The meter will beep and the red LED will
flash intermittently.
Clamp the cable once measuring the current, the current reading will be displayed
in LCD
Turn on the flash light and the light bulb will be lighted (Only in Current
Measurement)
Once NCV function detect the voltage, the LED indicator will be twinkled
Push this button to hold the readings in LCD, push one more time to
exit the data hold function
The max. jaw opening size is 23mm
Move the rotary switch for selecting proper range and function
Push the button to activate the LCD backlight, push one more time to exit. Once
rotary switch move to Current measurement range, push this button can also turn
on the flash light
To display the readings of measurement
SEL: Function Selection Button, push the SEL to shift AC/DC, ℃/℉, resistance,
diode & continuity test
RAN: Manual Range Select Button, push the button to switch proper range under
voltage and resistance measurement mode
HOLD: Data Hold, push the button to hold the readings in LCD, press again to exit
the data hold function
MAXH: Max. Value Hold, push this button to display the max. readings of
measurement. If the max. value is changed during the measurement, it is updated
automatically
Hz/%: Frequency and Duty Cycle Selection Button, under AC voltage measurement.
Press Hz/% to select function from voltage frequency to duty cycle
REL: Relative Value Measurement. Under DC current measurement, press this
button to reset reading. Under AC current measurement, hold this button to
activate Inrush Current measurement and LCD display "----", after 0.5sec to restart
measurement to display max. value from approx. 80ms cycle, hold this button to
exit the function
INPUT terminal (red test lead) for all measurements except current test; COM
terminal, connect black test lead. Connect the common test terminal before
connecting the active test terminal and remove the active test terminal before
removing the common test terminal
