2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a)
Do not operate this unit if you are tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that could
impair your ability to operate the unit.
b)
The unit is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced mental, sensory or
intellectual functions or persons who lack experience
and/or knowledge unless they are supervised or have
been instructed by a person responsible for their
safety on how to operate the unit.
c)
The unit may be operated by persons who are
physically fit, capable of operating it and appropriately
trained, and who have read this instruction manual
and have been trained in occupational safety and
health.
d)
Use caution and common sense when operating this
appliance. A moment's inattention during operation
may result in serious personal injury.
e)
To prevent accidental start-up, make sure the switch
is in the off position before connecting to a power
source.
f)
The unit is not a toy. Children should be watched to
ensure that they do not play with the unit.
2.4. SAFE USE OF THE UNIT
a)
Do not use the unit if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not turn on and off). Units that
cannot be controlled by the switch are unsafe, cannot
operate, and must be repaired.
b)
Disconnect the unit from the power supply before
adjusting, cleaning, or servicing. This precaution
reduces the risk of accidental start-up.
c)
Keep unused equipment out of the reach of children
and out of the reach of anyone unfamiliar with the unit
or this instruction manual. These units is dangerous in
the hands of inexperienced users.
d)
Keep the unit in good working condition.
e)
Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
f)
Repairs and maintenance should be carried out by
qualified personnel using only original spare parts.
This will ensure the safety of use.
g)
To ensure the designed operational integrity of the
unit, do not remove factory-installed covers or loosen
screws.
h)
Do not leave the unit switched on unattended.
i)
Clean the unit regularly to prevent permanent dirt
build-up.
j)
The unit is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be performed by children without adult
supervision.
k)
Do not tamper with the unit to alter its performance or
design.

Do not overload the unit.
m)
Charging batteries that are not intended to be
charged, such as disposable batteries is prohibited.
n)
Never charge damaged or faulty batteries.
o)
Do not charge a frozen battery.
p)
Protect the device from bad weather, especially rain.
Use the device only in well-ventilated areas.
q)
Always disconnect the charger from the power supply
when connecting and disconnecting charging cables
to the batteries.
r)
Never place the battery directly under or on top of the
charger. Place the charger as far away from the battery
as possible. The charger could be a source of sparks or
create an electric arc.
s)
Never place the charger under the hood of a vehicle.
t)
Only connect and disconnect the cables when the
charger is switched off!
u)
When the battery is fully charged, switch off the
charger, then unplug the cables from the battery in
the following order: first, unhook the clamp on the
pole with the same polarity as the vehicle's body
(usually negative, although some car models have
positive polarity).
v)
Before charging the battery, always check that its
capacity corresponds to the specifications in the
technical data table for the charger model.
w)
Always remove the cell covers and verify the
electrolyte level before charging a servicing battery.
The fluid in the cells should cover the battery plates.
If the fluid level is too low, follow the instructions and
recommendations of the battery manufacturer. Use
caution, electrolyte is highly corrosive and can cause
serious injury when in contact with skin.

Keep the clamps clean. Dirty clamps can make it
difficult or impossible to charge the battery. In
addition, always check the battery status to ensure
that the clamp connection area is clean.
y)
Avoid contact between the clamps when the charger
is turned on.
z)
Do not start the vehicle engine while the charger
is charging the battery. Disconnecting the battery
during charging is recommended.
aa)
Further charging of a charged battery may cause
gassing of the liquid it is filled with as evidenced by
the characteristic "boiling" sound. Stop charging
immediately, otherwise the battery may be damaged.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The charger is used to charge batteries and rechargeable
batteries.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.

3.2. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and
ambient humidity should not exceed 85%. Keep the unit
away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a
level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the
reach of children and persons of impaired mental, sensory
and intellectual functions. Place the unit in such a way that
the mains plug can be reached at any time. Ensure that the
power supply to the unit corresponds to that specified on
the identification plate!
3.3. WORKING WITH THE UNIT
1.
Connect the red clamp wire to the positive (+) post of
the battery.
2.
Connect the black clamp wire to the negative (-)
terminal of the battery.
3.
Connect the charger to the power supply.
4.
The charger automatically recognizes the type,
voltage and capacity of the connected battery and
adjusts its operation mode.
5.
For 12V batteries, the user can choose from three
charging modes: fast, slow or winter mode. The mode
is selected by pressing the mode selection button.
6.
If one of the errors occurs, an icon (E) or (G) will
appear on the screen depending on the cause.
7.
Reasons for an error occurring while the unit is in use:
a)
short circuit,
b)
defective battery,
c)
incorrectly connected charger cables to the battery
(reversed polarity).
