4.0 UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
Open the box and remove the product.
After unpacking, please check the product for damage and to ensure it is complete. Subsequent
complaints cannot be accepted.
5.0 ASSEMBLY (graphics page 2)
1.
Lay out a towel or soft mat to avoid damage. Place the radiant heater on the floor, with the
front facing downwards, as shown. Fold (a) the left side panel and (b) the right side panel
opening at a 90° angle. Secure the left and right side panels to the (e) front panel with 6
screws (ST4x8). (See Figure ②)
2.
Attach two wheels directly to the underside of the front panel and secure two wheels to the
(c) base plate with 2 nuts (M8) provided.
Use the 4 screws (M5x8) to fix the base plate with left and right side panel. (See Figure ③)
3.
Fix the base plate to the front panel with 2 screws (ST4x8). (See Figure ④)
4.
Fix the (d) top plate to two side panels with 8 screws (ST4x8). (See Figure ⑤)
5.
Insert the plastic regulator knob into the gas valve. (See Figure ⑥)
6.
Hook the (f) back panel into the two side panels after placing the gas cylinder on the base
plate. (See Figure ⑦)
5.1 BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1.
Ensure that the heating elements and other parts of the radiant heater do not have any
residual packaging or other contamination.
2.
Install the enclosed gas hose carefully without twisting or kinking it. To do this, plug one end
of the hose onto the gas valve connection (nozzle), and the other end onto the enclosed
pressure regulator connection. Secure the ends of the hose at the connections with hose
clamps.
3.
Place the seal in the pressure regulator's union nut and check that it is intact before carefully
screwing the nut onto the outlet of a gas cylinder (a gas cylinder is not included). The hose
must not be twisted during this process.
4.
Ensure there are no gas leaks by slowly turning the gas pressure regulator (cylinder non-
return valve).
To do this, carry out a leak test.
Never use matches or lighters to check for gas leaks!
To check for leaks, spray all the screw connections you have made with the gas cylinder valve
open and the pressure regulator connected with leak detection spray. If there is a leak,
bubbles will form at this point. In this case, close the valve at the
gas cylinder immediately and retighten the screw connections. Then try to repeat the leak
test again. If the leak persists after several attempts, contact your Customer Service team.
5.
Place the gas cylinder in the radiant heater and close the back panel.
6.
Place the radiant heater in the intended place of use and observe the rules and precautions
described in this operating manual.
