6.0 MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Check all the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects.
Only have parts replaced with original spare parts by a specialist in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications. A lack of care and maintenance can damage the appliance.
Dangerous situations can arise. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the safety of the product
and increases its service life.
The appliance must be out of operation and sufficiently cooled down during cleaning and
maintenance!
Only clean the radiant heater with a dry, soft cloth. Never use abrasive and/or scouring cleaning
agents.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified specialists.
The following points should be noted:
When changing the gas cylinder, check that the pressure regulator's seal is present and
•
undamaged.
Before use, ensure that the hose is undamaged and securely attached to the radiant heater
•
and pressure regulator.
It is advisable to replace the hose (incl. hose clamps) every 2 years, regardless of whether it
•
has been used or not. When replacing, ensure that the hose is suitable for use with liquid
gas. They are available from a specialist dealer.
Hoses found to be leaking or blocked must be replaced immediately.
•
With the exception of the hose and the pressure regulator, no user-attachable parts are
•
available for this heater. If the heater does not work properly, have it checked by a specialist
dealer and, if spare parts are required, they will ensure that the correct parts are supplied
and properly installed.
Have the radiant heater serviced and checked before use each season or when it is stored
•
for an extended period of time.
After an extended heating break, it is essential to carry out a leak test before restarting!
