▪ Never use the planer on metal parts or wood parts with nails,
screws or other metal objects. Remove metal objects from
the workpiece before using the planer;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure on the planer against the
work piece/object, the weight of the planer applies enough
pressure. If the speed drops abruptly, you should reduce the
pressure applied immediately;
▪ Move the planer steadily during operation;
▪ Always use sharp blades in good condition. Replace damaged
or bent blades immediately;
▪ Never switch the planer on when the blade is in contact the
workpiece. Do not touch the blade to the workpiece until it
has reached its maximum rotation speed;
▪ Do not use the planer if there are cloths, fabrics, wires or
similar objects in the work area;
▪ Do not tilt the planer, thus avoiding unwanted planing marks;
▪ Run the planer in the direction of wood grain;
▪ After switching off the planer, the roller will continue to
rotate for a short period. Never put the planer down before
the roller has come to a full stop.
Setting the cutting depth
The cutting depth can be adjusted between 0 - 3 mm.
1. Turn the cutting depth adjustment knob (6) to the required
depth. The arrow on the base of the adjustment knob
indicates the depth selected on the scale (5).
At the beginning of work, always select a small cutting
depth and test on the workpiece. Repeat the procedure
until the desired depth is reached.

Adjusting the parallel guide
The parallel guide is used to ensure that thinning is carried out
parallel to the end (edge) of the workpiece. The cutting width
can be set between 0 - 82 mm.
1. Loosen the parallel guide fixing bolt (12);
2. Adjust the guide to the required cutting width. The cutting
width value is indicated by the edge of the parallel guide
bracket (2) on the scale (11);
3. Tighten the fixing bolt.
Adjusting the rebate depth guide
The rebate depth guide ensures that when the planer is in
operation the intended depth is not surpassed. The notch depth
can be set between 0 - 18 mm.
1. Loosen the fixing bolt of the rebate depth guide (16);
2. Adjust the accessory according to the desired depth. The
cutting depth value is indicated by the arrow;
3. Tighten the fixing bolt.
Start and stop
1. Position the front part of the base plate onto the workpiece;
2. Press the lock-on button (8) and the "ON/OFF" switch (7)
simultaneously;
If you do not press the lock-on button, the "ON/OFF" switch
remains locked.
3. Let the blade reach maximum speed;
4. Move the planer towards the workpiece continuously and
smoothly, always with the parallel guide (1) against the edge
of the workpiece;
5. To switch off the planer lift it off from the workpiece surface
and release the "ON/OFF" switch.
Ensure that the blades do not contact the workpiece
before starting the planer.
