Slide the start of the bag roll under the metal guide in the sealing
direction.
3.3.2 Sealing.
After fixing the bag roll and making sure that the machine is
connected to the power supply, turn the power switch (A) to the on
position "I".
Use the temperature control knob on the side of the machine to set
the desired sealing step. The light next to the knob will illuminate,
indicating that the unit is heating up to the desired temperature. The
sealing temperature can be set by feel, i.e. by turning clockwise to
increase the temperature and vice versa. For example, for aseptic
pouches (nylon/paper bags) the recommended position of the knob
is about 1/3 of the scale. For most seals the optimum temperature
dial position is between 3 and 4 on the scale. Only after the heating
indicator has gone out can sealing be started and the unit will
continue to maintain the set temperature.
CAUTION: The used sealing strip is very hot - danger of burns!
