4. The guarantee relates to the condition of the products, i.e. the warranty is only for
defects arising as a result of faults in the material or faulty manufacture.
The following instances are not covered by the warranty:
a) Defects caused by use or by other naturally occurring wear and tear;
b) Damage caused by improper use or handling (e.g. knocks, impact sustained by
falls, undue force);
c) Damage caused by failure to follow the instructions for the use of the product.
5. It is left to the discretion of the manufacturer to choose whether to replace or to
repair the defective parts free of charge during the warranty period.
6. If a product cannot be repaired or replaced with an identical product because the line
has been discontinued, it will be replaced, as far as possible, with a product of the
same value. The purchase price cannot be refunded under the warranty.
7. Claims will not be honoured under the warranty if the product has been repaired or
assembled by unauthorised persons or service centres.
Disposal
Should you need to dispose of your appliance, it should first be
rendered unusable (e.g. by cutting off the
cord and the plug) and then disposed
of in accordance with current regulations.
Your local authority will be able to provide
you with the necessary information.

8. The warranty does not cover claims for damages. No liability can be accepted for
such damage as may arise if the product is used incorrectly or improperly or for
purposes other than intended while it is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
9. The warranty does not cover damage in transit.
10. The term of guarantee will not be extended if a claim is made on the warranty.
This also applies to any parts which are replaced or repaired.
11. Your statutory rights, especially your warranty rights, will not be affected or
restricted by the warranty.
12. This warranty is valid worldwide.
You can still use the after-sales repair service after the manufacturer's warranty period
has expired (please call customer services fi rst to discuss your requirements).
The after-sales service staff may also be able to help with remote diagnosis of problems,
additional ironing tips and advice.
