OPERATION
Remove the Battery
1. Push and hold the battery (7) release button.
2. Remove the battery from the machine.
Moving parts can amputate fingers or cause severe injuries.
Keep hands, clothing and loose objects away from all openings.
Always stop motor, remove battery, and make sure all moving
parts have come to a complete stop before removing obstructions,
clearing debris, or servicing unit.
Do not put your fingers into the notches or in position where they can
get cut.
Do not touch the blade unless you removed the battery.
Do not use the hedge trimmer if the blade is damaged or bent.
Remove all objects such as cords, lights, wire, or string from the
cutting area which can become entangled in the cutting blade and create
a risk of personal injury.
If the blade jams on an electrical cord or line, DO NOT TOUCH
THE BLADE! IT CAN BE LIFE THREATENING AND DANGEROUS.
Follow the steps below:
1.
Hold the insulated rear handle or put the machine down and away
from you.
2.
Disconnect the electrical service to the damaged line or cord before
you try to free the blade.
Starting the Unit
When starting the unit, observe the precautions described in the
"Safety" section. Failure to observe the precautions could cause
an accident or injury, or even lead to a fatality.
