2. Assembly instructions
2.1 Preparation
Check product availability prior to any preparative work.
The power supply must be equipped with a 6A fuse with a B characteristic and overcurrent protection with
a maximum tripping current of 30 mA. Disconnecting the system from the power supply with a two-po-
le disconnection element must be enabled for servicing reasons. A combined element (fuse combined with
overcurrent protection) can alternatively be used. The control unit power cable must have a round cross-se-
ction, Ø 5-10 mm, type CYKY-O 2×1,5
or CYKY-J 3×1,5 (the green-yellow conductor is not to be connected but isolated at the end).
2.2 Mechanical installation
The location of the control unit (electrical appliance) must comply with applicable standards
and regulations. All system components must be accessible for service. Do not shorten or
extend any cables that are part of the light fixture or the control. Power the system
only after it has been fully connected
PLACEMENT
The control unit is screwed to the beam or directly on the wall into the space under the bathtub. The box
must be placed at least 15 cm above the bathroom floor with outlets facing down. The light fixture must be
under the water level after the bathtub is filled. Do not install the light fixture facing your eyes to prevent gla-
re. Place the control so that it is always above the water level (near the tub rim or directly on the tub rim).
Choose a spot where you can comfortably control the system. The installation area must be straight so that
the light fixture and control unit can be mounted evenly. Make sure that the installation will not interfere
with the installation of bathtub elements and that the cables will reach the control unit terminal.
ASSEMBLY
Drill a small hole using a low speed from the inside of the bathtub with a diameter of a) 50 mm for the
N3257K control, b) 48-50 mm for the EL11 Light fixture. According to figure 1 align the mounting surface (1)
on the outside of the bathtub so that it is perpendicular to the axis of the light fixture/control. Thoroughly
clean and degrease all the surfaces that will be fixed (to the bathtub and light fixture/control). Apply an ap-
propriate amount of pH-neutral Ravak Professional glue on the body of the element to be connected (2). In-
sert the element through the hole (3) and align properly. Seal the space between the light fixture and the ba-
thtub (4) as well. Use an appropriate mat under the element and secure by tightening the nut (5). Tighten the
light fixture with 8 N.m. moment of force. Remove excessive glue. The easiest way to do so is after the glue
slightly hardens. After the glue fully hardens (24hrs), fill the bathtub and check the sealing of the light fixtu-
re installation.
