Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
• Before proceeding with any cleaning operations, make
sure that the unit has been turned off and unplugged
from the mains socket. Let it cool down completely,
out of the reach of children and pets! RISK OF BURNS!
• Do not use scouring products, abrasive cleaners or
sharp objects to clean the unit as these could damage
the surface.
• Clean the unit after each use to prevent any food residue from
accumulating.
Cleaning the cooking plate
• Remove any food residue with a soft, damp cloth or kitchen roll.
• When dealing with stubborn residue, pouring a small amount
of cooking oil over it is usually enough to soften it.
• Clean the product with a soft, non-abrasive sponge and a small
amount of washing-up liquid.
• Rinse with clean water and then dry thoroughly.
• Use a cloth to rub a small amount of cooking oil over the cooking
plate.
• The plate can be detached and put in a dishwasher.
CAUTION
• If necessary, wipe the temperature probe with a damp
cloth.
• When cleaning, do not let any liquid enter the probe
socket.
Cleaning the drip tray
Extract the drip tray from the unit.
