MAIN COMPONENTS AND OPERATION
WARNING
Get to know your machine. The best way to prevent accidents and obtain top perform-
ance from the machine is to ensure that all operators know how the machine works.
Learn the function and location of all commands.
Carefully check that all the commands on the machine are working properly.
To avoid accidents and injury, the equipment must be installed properly, operated
correctly and serviced regularly.
The separator may only be operated by operators over 18 years of age. To prevent use
by unauthorised staff, the compressed air supply can be disconnected by means of the
fitting A fig.1.
- Control lever (B fig.1):
• Move down to move the separator blade away.
• Move up to return the separator blade to the rest position.
- Connect the tool to the edge of the rim (fig.4).
- Push the handle forward to prevent the anchor from breaking free (fig. 4)
- Operate the control lever B as shown in fig.5 to push the bead into the well (if necessary,
repeat the operation at other points of the tyre), to aid insertion of the bead in the well
and thus facilitate the mounting or demounting operation.
- To release the DV 120 from the rim, press the trigger (D fig.1) and move the handle
back.
WARNING
Before activating the thrust function, make sure that the connection to the rim has
been made securely and that the front handle has been tightened enough to prevent
the anchor from breaking free from the edge of the rim.
WARNING
During assembly operations, keep a firm grip on the separator.
