Grass bag cleaning and replacement
Wash the grass bag with a garden hose and allow it to dry completely before use. A wet bag will clog quickly.
Replacement
•
Remove the plastic clips, remove the frame from the bag;
•
Insert the frame into the new bag, and secure with the plastic clips.
Air filter cleaning
Dirty air filters reduce engine power, increase fuel consumption and make the machine start-up more difficult.
Check and clean the air filter in warm soapy water. Dry completely before reinstalling it.
The use of the dirty filter will restrict the airflow in the carburetor affecting the performance of the lawn mower;
If damaged or shrunk, replace with a new one.
1. Remove the cap by pressing the tabs;
2. Remove the filter from the housing;
3. Check if the filter is damaged and replace it if necessary;
4. Clean the filter by tapping several times on a hard surface to remove the dirt, or using an air compressor; never
attempt to brush the filter as it may damage it;
5. Clean dirt from the inside of the filter housing using a damp cloth
6. Reinstall the filter in the housing and put the cap on.
Checking and changing engine oil
Always check the oil level when the machine is switched off.
•
Remove the oil tank cap and clean the dipstick;
•
Insert the dipstick in the oil filler neck, but do not screw it in;
•
Check the oil level shown on the dipstick.
•
If it's near the lower level, fill it up to the indicated level. Do not overfill.
•
Put the tank cap on, making sure it is properly secured.
Drain the oil while the engine is warm. Warm oil drains faster and completely.
•
Clean the oil filling area and then remove the tank cap;
•
Place an oil drain pan next to the mower to catch the used oil, and then tilt the equipment to the right. The
used oil will drain through the filler neck. Allow the oil to drain completely;
•
Fill with the recommended oil (15W40). Do not overfill. Allow a couple of minutes for the oil to settle in the
engine and then check and then check if the oil is already at the desired level
