When using hot water at high temperatures, do not directly

Check the lever handle location before turning on the water.
If you turn on the water when it is set to the hottest setting, the water
may be hot enough to scald you. When using hot water, start with cold
water first and then adjust the water temperature slowly to the desired
temperature.
After using hot water, turn on the cold water for a while.
Hot water could remain in the faucet and come out at your next use
and may scald you.
Periodically (more than twice a year) check around the
piping for water leakage and loose connections.

Parts may get damaged from deterioration and wear and may cause
leakage resulting in water damage to property or cause injuries such
as scalding.
Set the cold water supply pressure higher than or equal to
the hot water supply pressure.
In order to prevent scalding due to unsafe operation, the cold water
supply pressure must be set higher than or equal to the hot water
supply pressure. If increasing pressure on the hot water side, make
sure the hot water supply pressure side is set lower than the cold
water side.
