3. INSTALLATION
1.Before first use, wipe the plates with a clean cloth.
2.Install the device on a horizontal and stable work surface.
3.Position the grease drip tray into the slot provided for this purpose.
4.Make sure you have one outlet nearby so that the cable is neither stretched nor in a zone of passage.
5.Plug in the supplied thermostat.
6.Plug the power cord into the socket.
7.Turn the thermostat clockwise to the highest setting. The indicator light will now turn on.
8.Preheat for at least 5 minutes and wait until the temperature indicator light turns off, before placing any food onto
the grill.
9.When the device is turned on for the first time, it will produce a light odour. This is normal and temporary.
10.Using a heat resistant layer between the device and a table is advised.
11.Place the device in a well-ventilated space
4. USE
1.Grease the plates with butter, margarine or cooking fat.
2.Select the desired temperature with the thermostat knob.
3.Never use sharp objects on the grill, this will damage the non-stick coating.
4.Once you have finished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall socket and let the appliance open for it to cool
down.
5. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
In any event, unplug and let the appliance cool down before cleaning.
1.Reminder: do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not place the appliance in the dishwasher..
2.Do not use tools or abrasive solutions that would damage the coating of trays. You can use a wooden kitchen utensil
or paper towel to remove most of the dirt..
3.After each use, empty the fat collecting tray and clean it with warm water and soap.
4.Clean the trays with a slightly damp sponge, or equivalent, and washing up liquid..
5.Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth only.
6.Allow the device to dry after cleaning. Do not connect it if it is not dry.
