NOTE!
• The bolts must each stand a torque force of
minimum 4000 N (880 lbs).
• Recommended installation height above
floor level is 3-4 m (10-13 ft).
• Do not forget to apply the gasket, item X.
4.1 Installation checklist
• Check that the hose lifts away correctly after dis-
connection and that it does not touch the station
floor.
• When required, adjust the balancer lifting power.
See the User Manual for balancer, series 831.
• Check that the hose does not catch any part of the
vehicle or the station door.
• Check the airflow in the nozzle opening with an air-
flow indicator. See
Section 3.1 Recommended air-
flow.
• Check the fan impeller rotation direction and/or
damper function if required.
5 User instruction
NOTE!
The hose can withstand 150 °C (302 °F) - hose
type NFC 300 °C (572 °F) - for continuous run-
ning. Use at higher temperatures will shorten
the life of the product. Therefore, avoid tasks
that require extended periods of continuous
running which will generate high exhaust tem-
peratures.
5.1 Connection

Open the station door and start the exhaust ex-
traction fan.

Drive the vehicle to the intended place.

Fit the nozzle on the exhaust pipe with the grip at-
tachment.
5.2 Disconnection

Open the station door and stop the exhaust ex-
traction fan.

Disconnect the nozzle from the vehicle. Hold the
hose until the balancer has lifted it to its end posi-
tion.
NOTE!
Units delivered with automatic disconnec-
tion have a factory adjusted wire connec-
ted to a safety coupling and the nozzle.

Drive the vehicle out of the station.

6 Maintenance
In order to ensure that the system continues to oper-
ate correctly, the following should be checked once a
year or more often depending on the amount of use.
NOTE!
Defective and worn parts should be replaced
immediately.

The nozzle's internal contact surface. Clean when
necessary.

The suspension of the balancer with safety chain.

The operation of the balancer, make sure that the
hose lifts up properly. When required, adjust the
balancer lifting power. See the User Manual for
balancer, series 831.
4 The grip function in the nozzle.

The hoses.
6
Check the airflow in the nozzle opening with an
airflow indicator. See
airflow.
7
Check the fan impeller rotation direction and/or
damper function if required.
7 Spare Parts

7.1 Ordering spare parts
When ordering spare parts always state the following:
• The part number and control number (see the
product identification plate).
• Detail number and name of the spare part (see
www.nederman.com/en/service/spare-part-
search).
• Quantity of the parts required.
8 Recycling
The product has been designed for component mater-
ials to be recycled. Different material types must be
handled according to relevant local regulations. Con-
tact the distributor or Nederman if uncertainties arise
when scrapping the product at the end of its service
life.
