DESCRIPTION OF THE STRUCTURE
The structure can be installed individually or in modular compositions. Its operation is motorised; Optional Ac-
cessories can be installed on request (see Chap. 9 "Optional Accessories").
3.1 Components
The folding and sliding product is composed of fabric (taut when the awning is opened) fastened to a metal
structure which allows it to slide horizontally.
•
Metal structure: this represents the supporting chassis, containing the various mechanisms required to open
and close the awning. It is composed of a frame fitted with guide/guttering profiles (A) inside which the
carriages where the fabric is fastened slide, two bottom profile sections and intermediate profiles.
•
Fabric (D): this is what provides the awning's protection and coverage functions.
It is available in two different models:
•
I2 (Fig. 1): self-supporting structure
•
I2A (Fig. 2): fastened to a wall and supported by columns (B)
The materials used guarantee good resistance to wear caused both by use and by the weather.
