The APS-412 switching power supply is designed for powering 12 VDC devices. It is provided with
a connector for integration with SATEL devices.
1. Description
Figure 1 shows the power supply enclosure.
F1 fuse (T 3.15 A) – AC circuit protection.
LEDs to indicate the power supply status:
– red LED:
OFF – current consumption not exceeding 4 A,
flashing – current consumption exceeding 4 A.
– yellow LED:
ON – battery OK or the battery testing mode disabled,
flashing – low battery (battery voltage below 11.5 V),
OFF – no battery or blown F3 fuse.
– green LED:
ON – AC power OK,
flashing – no AC power or blown F1 fuse.
Figure 2 shows the part of the electronics board visible after the cover is removed.

Additionally, information on the power supply status is transmitted via the connector. The cable
for connecting the power supply to a SATEL device is included in the set (Fig. 4).

Description of terminals
– terminal for connecting phase conductor.
L
– terminal for connecting neutral conductor.
N
– terminal for connecting protective conductor.
PE
+12V – +12 VDC power output.
COM – common ground.
– OC type output signaling 230 VAC power loss.
WS
– OC type output signaling low battery voltage (below 11.5 V).
WB
– OC type output signaling current overload (above 4 A).

2. Configuration
The switch 6 must be set in OFF position.
The switches 1-5 are used for configuring the following power supply operating parameters:
Switch 1 – audible trouble signaling: ON=enabled / OFF=disabled.
Switch 2 – battery test: ON=enabled / OFF=disabled.
