GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this snow thrower does
not cover items that have been sub-
jected to operator abuse or negligence.
To receive full value from the warranty,
the operator must maintain the snow
thrower as instructed in this manual.
Some adjustments will need to be made
periodically to properly maintain your
snow thrower.
Maintenance, replacement, or repair of
the emission control devices and sys-
tems can be performed by any non-road
engine repair establishment or individu-
al. Regular maintenance will improve the
performance and extend the life of the
engine.
WARNING: Do not strike the
flywheel with a hammer or a
hard object. If done, the fly-
wheel can shatter during operation.
Do not tamper with the governor
spring, links or other parts to in-
crease engine speed.

To prevent freezing of the auger or
controls, remove all snow and slush
from the snow thrower.

Check for any loose or damaged
parts.

Tighten any loose fasteners.

Check and maintain the auger.

If any parts are worn or damaged,
replace immediately.
LUBRICATION BEFORE STORAGE
Lubricate chute
control flange. Lubricate
flange with a clinging type
grease such as Lubriplate.
