Operation
The voltage detector is useful for identifi cation of phase and
neutral leads, to identify interruption of a wire and to detect the
presence of AC voltage on: terminals, switches, circuit breakers,
fuses, wires and cables.
Note:
The voltage detector can be used to identify the interruption
of a wire:
to identify an interruption on a phase wire, follow the wire until
the signal is interrupted.

6 - Tip
To identify an interruption on a neutral wire, connect a load
between the phase and the neutral. Follow the wire until the
signal is interrupted.
Test the instrument on a known component or equipment that
is working.
If the instrument does not work as scheduled on the known
equipment while operating, replace the batteries.
If the instrument continues not to work as scheduled, send it
for repair.
Position the probe tip near the circuit or equipment to be
checked.
The LED will indicate the presence of AC voltage between
200 ~ 1000 V CA 50/60 Hz
Note:
The voltage detector cannot identify voltages on a shielded
cable or on a cable inserted in a duct, behind panels or inside
metal cases.
Replacing the batteries
Disconnect the instrument from the equipment.
Remove the battery compartment cover.
Replace the batteries (ensuring correct polarity).
• Close the battery compartment cover.
Declaration of conformity (CE)
emanated from the Commission of the European Community.
